The Well:

One day, I was fasting and praying, worshipping Jesus in my bedroom (which is my -very quiet- prayer closet/private Sanctuary where I meet with the Lord regularly). As I was praying and worshipping, I suddenly felt the presence of the Lord come upon the room, and when I could no longer stand up, I sat down on the edge of my bed with my eyes closed.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the Lord kneeling on the floor in front of me. When I saw Him there, I started weeping, asking Him, "Who am I, that the Lord would come and kneel before ME?", and He said, "I have knelt here to show you that we are on the same level. I want you to truly have an INDEPTH understanding of the Power and Authority that I have given to you to use. Look here, I would like to show you something else."

I watched as the Lord got up and went to a well that was now in the middle of my room. When He reached it, I saw that He was weeping. I asked Him, "Lord, why are You weeping?" He swept His hand over the top of the well, and said, "Come, look inside." I got up from where I was sitting on the edge of my bed, and I went over to where He was at the well.

I looked down inside of the well, and saw that there was only a small amount of water in it. I looked at the Lord, and He said, "This is what has become of my Church." As I looked inside of the well again, I could see some of the Churches and Ministries that were keeping the well full of the LIVING WATERS that were there, and in the midst of it I could see the Hand of the Lord upon those Churches and Ministries, causing a continuous FLOW of miracles, signs and wonders to be wrought at their hand.

I understood what the Lord was showing me about the well. He then waved His hand toward the right and said, "Now look here." I looked toward where He had His hand, and I saw a huge Church inside of 4 walls, and inside of this Church, I saw a multitude of believers, all raising their hands in worship to Jesus. They were happy and singing, full of joy.

Then I heard the Lord speak again. "Now look here." I followed His hand to the left, and I saw even larger multitudes of people who were OUTSIDE of the Church walls. They were crying and weeping, lost and unsaved. There were women, men, youth, the elderly, poor people, rich people, crippled people, sick people, healthy people, people dying of addictions and incurable diseases, people DYING EVERYDAY without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ.

I looked again toward the right, where the churches were...where all the people were inside and full of the joy of the Lord, and I couldn't help but wonder why they were so oblivious to the hurting that were right outside of their own doors. I lowered my head, saddened by what I saw. When I looked up again, the visions of the Church and the hurting were gone.

I looked back at the Lord, and I said, "I don't want to be like that. I want to make a difference in someones life by bringing them to You. USE ME, Lord, to make a difference in this hurting world!" The Lord has been faithful in using me to make a difference in the lives of many. And I stay obedient to what He tells me to do.

Seeing things like this just IGNITES the FIRE in me to go out into the world and bring the lost and the hurting the Gospel, like the Lord commands us to do. We have the same Power and Authority as the Apostles do, and we should be using it more. Jesus has not changed, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Sadly, it is US, the Church, that has changed.

The Lord is calling us to RISE UP to be the WARRIORS that we are called to be! The Lord is calling us to RISE UP and USE our God-given POWER AND AUTHORITY to go out and DESTROY the works of the devil! The LORD is calling us to RISE UP among a nation that is hurting, and PROCLAIM HIS NAME to the nations! The LORD is calling us to RISE UP, CHURCH, TO RISE UP, and walk among those that do not yet know Him! The LORD is calling us to DECREASE so that He can INCREASE! The Lord is CALLING US TO RISE UP! Won't you join Him?
